Do Cameras have legs?

I finished the afore mentioned necklace and went to get my camera and now I have spent an hour cleaning out my car and ransacking my house in order to lay my hands on it. Bad thing is-- I haven't found it. I fear that it may have disappeared from my car. It doesn't make complete sense as my Tom Tom was in the same spot and it is on my table in clear view.
I have tried to capture an image with our webcam- not the same but here it is.

I call this necklace Painterly because the end tubes look like paint brushes and the rest of the tubes look like oil paints on an artists tray.
They are horrible photos  but it just goes to show how nice my little camera is- even if it was obsolete.

Beginning again.

I feel as if I am beginning again. However, I have so many things in place from when I really first began this creative journey. I am beginning again, but I am not starting from scratch. The trials of the past have given me perseverance I had not idea I possessed. I am still recovering from a major life change but I am allowing my life to become better and trying very hard to not become bitter... I am finding that I am not having to try so hard at it lately. I want to thank everyone for your kind comments on "Effy' whether here or by email. I also want to thank everyone who has been encouraging me to pursue the many facets of beading as an art and a business. Doll Journey: Nesting

Whenever a momma of any kind births, she begins to nest. She gathers things needed for a  time when little else gets done besides the nurturing of a new creature. Whenever we craft or create we do the same thing. We gather things close to us that we feel are necessary for some serious time spent on our project. On a grander scale, some may refer to it as "hoarding" but I prefer to call it nesting. It allows us to focus on the task at hand without interruption or distraction. It makes sense, doesn't it? My collecting usually starts with seed beads. I hunt down every possible color that I may want to include. For this doll I have put together 3 different mixes of flesh tones in different intensities.If you know me, you would think I am really crazy because I do NOT like my beads mixed. However, the idea is to see the glow of a flame reflecting off of a natural skin tone.  "Flesh to flames".
